Under the guidance of Endocrinologist Dr. Sikarin Upala, weight loss and weight management services are offered. “Endocrinology is a specialized medicine that focuses on treating diseases and problems that affect the endocrine system, such as diabetes, obesity, hormone imbalances and thyroid disorders,” said Dr. Upala. “I’m looking forward to working one-on-one with my patients in the Yakima Valley to help them identify their specific health issues and create an individualized treatment plan to get their health under control so they can start feeling better again.”

Dr. Upala is committed to medical research and is an author of several medical publications on weight management and nutrition topics. He is a Diplomate on the American Board of Clinical Lipidology and the American Board of Obesity Medicine. He is a Certified Clinical Densitometrist (CCD). He is board certified on the American Board of Internal Medicine (ABIM) and has received an Endocrinology, Diabetes and Metabolism certification. He is also a member of the Endocrine Society, the American Association of Clinical Endocrinologists, the International Society for Clinical Densitometry, the American Society for Bone and Mineral Research and the National Lipid Association.
