Astria Regional Medical Center

  • Only Hospital in Washington State to receive distinguished American Heart Association accreditation for acute cardiac care
  • American College of Cardiology's NCDR ACTION Registry Silver Performance Achievement Award for 2017. Astria Regional Medical Center is one of only 105 hospitals nationwide to receive this honor.
  • Astria Regional Medical Center is the only hospital in the state of Washington to receive the American Heart Association's Mission: Lifeline® Heart Attack Receiving Center Accreditation. While other hospital programs participate in the registry database, the accreditation program—sponsored by the American Heart Association and the Society of Cardiovascular Patient Care—recognizes centers that meet or exceed quality of care measures for people experiencing the most severe type of heart attack, ST-elevation myocardial infarction (STEMI), in which blood flow is completely blocked to a portion of the heart.
  • LifeCenter Northwest Donation Achievement Award­: Organ Donation 2015-2016 and 2018-2019, acknowledged as a top performing hospital for dedication to saving lives through organ donation.

Joint Commission Seal of Approval

The Joint Commission, the nation's leading healthcare standards-setting and accrediting organization, accredits hospitals as well as nursing homes and other healthcare organizations. Specially trained investigators assess whether these organizations meet set standards.

This recognition demonstrates that Astria Toppenish Hospital and Astria Regional Medical Center are following strict guidelines and standards developed by The Joint Commission to effectively manage and meet the unique and specialized needs of patients.
