Astria Health welcomes new Board-Certified Family Nurse Practitioner to the Yakima Valley

(SUNNYSIDE, Wash., April 11, 2022) – Astria Health is pleased to welcome Valentine Okochi, MSN, APRN, FNP-BC, to the Yakima Valley. Okochi is now providing primary care to patients of all ages, from adolescents to adults, at the Astria Health Centers in Toppenish and Zillah.

“I’m dedicated to delivering evidence-based practice and culturally-competent care to members of our community,” Okochi said. “I’m looking forward to serving patients and their families and helping them receive the high-quality care that they deserve.”

Okochi is a Family Nurse Practitioner who works to provide compassionate, individualized patient care, specifically catered to the needs and conditions of each individual he sees. Okochi has extensive clinical training to prevent, diagnose and treat common health problems, and serious chronic and complex illnesses. He is passionate about patient education and works alongside each of his patients to teach disease prevention and healthy lifestyle habits.

Okochi completed his Master of Science in Nursing Leadership degree from South University in Savannah, Georgia. He also completed his Post-Master’s Certificate in Family Nurse Practitioner Specialty from Herzing University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Okochi is board-certified through the American Nurses Credentialing Center.
