Astria Health welcomes new Board-Certified Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist to Grandview

Astria Health is pleased to welcome back Board-Certified Ear, Nose and Throat (ENT), Head and Neck Surgery Specialist Suzanne Cleland-Zamudio, MD, ENT, to its Astria Health Center in Grandview. Dr. Cleland-Zamudio worked for the organization from 2016-2020 and started seeing patients again in May. 

“It’s great to be back in the Yakima Valley,” said Dr. Cleland-Zamudio. “I’ve enjoyed my time in Grandview and I’m looking forward to treating patients here for many years to come.” 

 Dr. Cleland-Zamudio is a highly-trained and skilled surgeon. She is specialized in the evaluation and treatment for ENT problems in high-risk children and adults. She and her team provide personalized and compassionate care to patients of all ages. Her services include but are not limited to thyroid, salivary gland and parathyroid surgery; treatment for hearing loss, tinnitus (ringing in ears), tonsil and adenoid problems; dizziness and vertigo; ear infections and chronic ear and sinus diseases. She also provides diagnosis, care and management of the following conditions: allergies, nasal and sinus disorders; airway disorders; head and neck cancer; hoarseness and swallowing disorders. 

Dr. Cleland-Zamudio is board-certified in otolaryngology, head and neck surgery from the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. She received her master’s degree in snoring and sleep apnea from the University of Minnesota in Minneapolis, Minnesota. She also completed her residency in otolaryngology at the University of Minnesota’s Department of Otolaryngology – Head and Neck Surgery. Dr. Cleland-Zamudio interned in general surgery at Hennepin County Medical Center in Minneapolis and received her medical degree from Oregon Health Sciences University in Portland, Oregon.
