Astria Toppenish Hospital recognized as the #1 Most Racially Inclusive Hospital in Washington State
(SUNNYSIDE, Wash., February 27, 2023) – Astria Toppenish Hospital was named one of the 2022 Top 20 Most Racially Inclusive Hospitals in the U.S. and the #1 in Washington State, according to the Lown Institute.
“We’re honored to be named as one of the most racially inclusive hospitals in the nation,” said Cathy Bambrick, Astria Toppenish Hospital Administrator. “Our healthcare team loves to serve our patients and their loved ones throughout the greater Toppenish community. We take this responsibility to heart, and we’re advocating daily to receive the support we need to continue to serve our area.”
The Lown Institute is a national think tank organization that focuses on the social responsibility of hospitals throughout the U.S. The Institute also ranked Astria Toppenish Hospital as the #1 Racially Inclusive Hospital and #5 for Health Equity in Washington State, and Astria Sunnyside Hospital as the #2 Racially Inclusive Hospital in Washington State.
