Monday, April 30, Yakima, WA – Dr. Jason Hanson, MD and and Andrea Valicoff, CRNA have joined the Astria Regional Medical Center Surgery Department.
Dr. Hanson is a cardio-pulmonary anesthesiologist and completed his Internship and Residency at University Hospitals Cleveland, OH. He received his Doctor of Medicine from the Medical College of Wisconsin.
Dr. Hanson is board certified in Anesthesiology(?) by the American Board of Anesthesiologists. He holds certifications in Advanced Cardiac Life Support and a National Board of Echocardiography Examinations of Special Competence in Advanced Perioperative Transesophageal Echocardiography.
Dr. Hanson joins Dr. Hemstad as the second cardiac-pulmonary anesthesiologist working with the outstanding team at Astria Heart Institute.
Andrea Valicoff, Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist, has a Master of Science Cum Laude from Georgetown University School of Nursing, Washington DC. She received her anesthesia clinical training from MedStar Georgetown University Hospital, Washington DC and a Bachelor of Science from the University of Portland, Portland, OR.
Ms. Valicoff joins our anesthesia team in the General OR Department.
