National Children's Day is celebrated annually on the second Sunday of June. This year, it falls on June 11. This day addresses the importance of children in society and encourages discussion on how to improve children’s welfare, investment in their future, and addresses mental and physical health issues they may be dealing with. And, it’s an opportunity to encourage families to spend time with their kids and make precious memories together.
Astria Health Pediatricians Ana Garcia, MD and Teodor Butiu, MD, along with Pediatric Occupational Therapist Eli Sreniawski and Pediatric Speech Therapist Shandra Cook, strongly encourage healthy play and spending time together as a family. It's good for everyone!
