Biography

Alan Greenwald, MD has been a practicing orthopedic surgeon for 40 years. He graduated magna cum laude, Phi Beta Kappa with a Bachelor of Arts in Chemistry from Washington and Jefferson University. After completing his residency, Dr. Greenwald spent twenty plus years as a consulting orthopedic surgeon in San Francisco in private and academic practice at UCSF. Since moving to Washington, he has held leadership positions in state and local professional societies.

His clinical interests are joint replacement and arthroscopic shoulder surgery. His real passion is to provide the highest quality of orthopedic care using ethical, best practice guidelines and state of the art technologies.
